Trudeau Institute Open House

August 1, 2025 2 pm to 4 pm

From the Director

From Tuberculosis to emerging and re-emerging diseases, Trudeau researchers have applied their expertise to confront infectious diseases since Trudeau Institute was founded in 1884.

For over 140 years, Trudeau Institute, located in Saranac Lake, NY, has been recognized for its efforts to combat infectious disease threats in the interest of public health. Beginning with the tuberculosis epidemic in the late 1800s to today's focus on developing therapeutics and vaccines for viral diseases such as Zika, dengue, influenza, and antimicrobial-resistant bacterial infections, Trudeau Institute has remained true to its mission: To safeguard human health and combat 21st-century global health crises by empowering specialized R&D pursuits in regional and global translational science partnerships.

I invite you to attend our Open House and learn more about our work, our history, and our vision for the future. Whether you're curious about cutting-edge science or simply want to understand how research at Trudeau impacts everyday lives, we look forward to your visit and sharing with you the important work happening right here in your community.
